keeping bees sounds selfish, yet it's still a goal of mine

Some folks have regrets, while others have perspective.

Setting out on the journey of a biblical sized writing exercise was far beyond anything I had envisioned at the time. Of course, I knew what a cluster fuck I was about to wade into and I was aware of how critical I can be. The problem I've discovered is that I like it. Oh, don't get me wrong, pretty much every character so far is a piece of shit and the discrepancies really make me question a lot of people and events from the last thousand years, but I'm getting into it.

I set aside the time for the activity and I perform the activity. The discipline involved, or perhaps routine, is comforting. I don't know if the subject matter is important to the therapeutic aspect, but the whole thing provides a calming effect.

An issue I've noticed about the bible series is the traffic. Literally any other post gets better traffic than bible posts. Granted, there's zero tags or optimization for anything, so I legitimately have no idea how new people even find their way here. Well, I do, but it's all noise. I want to point out that the series is all notes, I am hoping that as I go along there can be some sort of form that starts to find itself.

A retelling, without the plot holes and all the garbage insecurities of the writers from before. A human story in the form of some type of narrative. The best part of this idea is that who can say I stole their idea? God? Well, if god would like to take me to court over the copyright infringement, then I think this whole endeavor would be even more worthwhile than simply lubing up my old fingers to bang away on this new mistress of mine.

Why would that make it even more worthwhile to me? Well, because of the implication. First of all, the acknowledgment of a well written plagiarism. Popular enough to gain attention, quite a feat considering the paltry numbers I've seen for the series thus far. Secondly, well, it'd be nice to cross examine the prosecution or whatever.
